Or you might a UTI and you should phone your doctor.
Three quick website signs to check when shopping online:
- The “S” in HTTPS of the site’s URL
- Look for the contact information
Also, look out for signs of malware on a site – any dodgy links or dubious advertising. If it looks fishy, it probably smells fishy – you just can’t tell through your mask. And that’s not even mentioning phishy – but that’s a blog about online furniture shopping for another day.
Do your research when shopping online
We know, we know… this is going to sound so obvious, but trust us when we say many incredibly smart and successful people we know have fallen prey to scammers online.
Whenver you’re browsing around a site, do a general search for them. Look for things like reviews and a prominent social media presence. If you’re feeling unsure whether to trust a site, ask your friends to check out the site and get their opinion.
Once you’re settled, it’s time to get down to business.
How to find the cheapest furniture online
Just like when shopping in the real world, begin by shopping around. Comparing prices is a good starting point. It’s especially important if you’re less likely to see the furniture you’re buying online in person first.
